DUAL-COMPACT is the Observatory Station with dome and dual telescope designed by PrimaLuceLab to provide an affordable solution for remote space exploration and astronomy education. It's composed by an Alt-Az mount installed on heavy pier, supporting 2 optical telescopes in parallel and with ESATTO focusers, one with short focal length and one with long focal length. Every telescope comes with a special camera to provide a wide and a narrow FoV. Telescope is remotely controlled and powered with the EAGLE and it's provided with fully opening dome that allows the telescope fast movement tracking also objects in Earth orbit. By using 2 telescopes in parallel with different focal length and different cameras, the DUAL-COMPACT optical Observatory Station provides 2 different one wide field of view and a narrower one with higher image resolution. Both telescopes are provide with ESATTO robotic focusers and the short focal length one is provided also with ARCO rotator for automatic field de-rotation.
DUAL-COMPACT optical Observatory Station - ScopeDome Clamshell 3M:
ScopeDome Clamshell 3M is the perfect telescope dome to track satellites, space debris or quick sky surveys, because when in use it completely opens and doesn't request for the dome shutter to be synchronized with the telescope position. This way the telescope is able to quickly slew not only to astronomical objects but also satellites or space debris. The fast shutter drive allows almost immediate observation and a special feature of the dome is the ability to open only selected shutter, which allows additional protection of the telescope against strong winds. ScopeDome Clamshell 3M dome includes motors and remote control electronics.

In order to automate and remotely control your ScopeDome and telescope with camera and accessories, connect the EAGLE to the ScopeDome (via USB or ethernet) and you will be able to control the entire observatory with an handy WiFi connection or with ethernet. Thanks to the EAGLE you will be able to distribute power to all 12V devices on the telescope while dome requires an external power source.
All ScopeDome are "first-time" assembled and tested in ScopeDome factory and then dismantled and carefully prepared for worldwide shipment.
