DSLR and mirrorless

Modified DSLR or mirrorless cameras, based on Canon EOS and Nikon bodies, are used for astrophotography since they offer large dimension sensors at a lower price compared to cooled cameras for astronomy. Thanks to modified filter, DSLR or mirrorless cameras for astrophotography are more sensitive than the stock ones and allow to record faintest objects, especially in the red part of the spectrum.
