PrimaLuceLab Installation Team completed the installation of the 5 meter diameter instrument with receivers, environmental sensors and software in the control room and provided training service to the astronomers of Kielder Observatory.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4433\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4433\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4433 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primalucelab.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/SPIDER-500A-installed-in-Kielder-Observatory-article-final.jpg\" alt=\"SPIDER 500A installed in Kielder Observatory (UK)\" width=\"1000\" height=\"650\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4433\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">SPIDER 500A installed in Kielder Observatory (UK)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The SPIDER 500A radio telescope is weatherproof and, with a 1 ton weight, it needs for a properly made concrete base that Kielder Observatory prepared based on specifications provided by PrimaLuceLab.
