C82 pier for concrete base with adapter for EQ6 / AZ-EQ6 / CGEM

Product code: C82-C-EQ6

Quick Overview

When you want to install a telescope under a dome, the pier is preferable since it provides better stability than most tripods that are often undersized for the mount. It also prevents the telescope installed on the mount touches one of the tripod legs. Using the column, you can safely use your instrument!

This pier comes with adapter for SkyWatcher EQ6, AZ-EQ6 or CGEM mounts.

Our C82 pier is made of steel and it has a high rigidity and load capacity, thanks to the central tube 5 mm thick. If you want to install a mount not listed, please contact us and we will produce on demand the necessary adapter.

Main specifications:
- Stable and safe, perfect for fixed installation of telescopes
- Thick central tube for high rigidity
- Base with pairs of 120° holes for perfect horizontal leveling

  1. Solid as a rock review by Mihai on 11/12/2018

The column is extremely well built and solid as a rock.
I had it with an NEQ6 with 20kg of instruments on top and it did not budge! It looks back at me and says: Is that all you got? Give me more!
I filled it with sand, but I think it is an overkill since it's so solid.
