Quick Overview

The 0,67x reducer for RC GSO reduces the focal length of telescopes with the factor 0.67x, thus allowing significantly shorter exposure times. f/8 focal ratio becomes f/5.3 allowing you to record weaker objects, perfect for sensors up to APS-C format (illumination up to 29 mm). The 0,67x reducer for RC GSO has an easy connection to the telescope via 2" barrel and an optimal working distance from the M48x0.75 thread to the camera sensor is 85 mm - enough space for accessories like off-axis guider or filter wheel. 2" filter thread at the telescope side.

Direct adaption of a DSLR camera to the flattener:

If you want to use a DSLR camera, in order to connect to the corrector and have the DSLR sensor at the right distance of the corrector lens, you need to add the a 30mm M48 extension and then M48-to-bayonet adapter.

Adapting an individual CCD camera:

A CCD camera has a lower backfocus than a DSLR camera so you will need to add a longer M48 extension. To recommend the right articles, please write us with the back focus distance of your camera (distance from connection thread to sensor surface) and eventually existing/wanted filter wheels, off-axis-guiders etc.
