The Celestron Skyris 132C it’s a color planetary camera born from the synergy of two great names in the astronomy market. Technology and astronomical imaging knowledge of the German Company The Imaging Source, along with the quality and competence of Celestron, has developed a new series of camera dedicated to high resolution imaging. Easy to use and very high quality, this camera are ideal for users with first experiences of planetary photography but also for those  user expert and demanding, with very low cost and perfectly in line with the market price, at the same quality and characteristics of similar products. Their design is completely new, the small dimension of the CMOS APTINA AR0132 1.2 megapixel, making it one of the best camera on the market, also used by the most famous world Astroimagers.

The first feature that will immediately notice is the body of the camera, realized with a heat dissipation system, that greatly reduces electronic noise caused by the working temperature of the electronic components. The connection via the new ports USB 3.0, that provide a much higher data flow than previous versions. The CMOS APTINA  AR0132 is the evolution of the MT9M034 sensor, allows the Skyris 132C to capture from 60fps up to 200fps (for a user-selected resolution) with a high sensitivity and speed that only the most expensive camera can reach, all this with a very low price.
 
 

Perfect for planetary, lunar and solar high resolution imaging

Each Skyris is accompanied with a complete set of softwares dedicated and specifically designed for these camera. Easy to install and use, allow to manage all the control parameters in order to take pictures correctly exposed and well balanced. To complete the kit, is includes all the instructions manuals useful for those  users that approach for the first time planetary photography and high resolution.

Skyris as autoguider

The Skyris 132C is an excellent planetary imaging camera but also suitable as autoguider. It has not a real ST4 port as the classic dedicated autoguider, the connection is via an RS232 cable from the keypad and connected with a USB adapter to SERIAL (not supplied). The Direct Show or WDM will establish the communication with most popular software such as MaximDL and PHD guiding.



OSX compatible
