This manual filter slider allows you install up to four 50,8mm filters, useful both for astrophotography and visual use. The filters (not included) are threaded on the 4-positions available, allowing the user to choose which filter to use without having to disassemble any accessory. in order to change the filter, simply move the slider, it will lock in the selected position while maintaining the mounted accessory (CCD camera or eyepiece) aligned with the optics.

It can be installed on any telescope focuser 50.8mm, it comes with a 50.8mm eyepiece holder where you can connect 50,8mm accessories. An 50,mm8 to 31,8mm reducer (not supplied) allows the user to install 31,8mm accessories.

The filter slider allows you to install up to 4 filters 50.8mm diameter on the slide itself. The filters (not supplied) are screwed and they can be left installed. If you use for astrophotography for example, using this filter slider you will not have to remove the camera from the telescope every time you want to change the filter. in order to select the required filter you simply have to move the slider up to the filter as needed. This mechanism ensures a correct position of the camera to the filter.

This manual slider filter 4x50,8mm offers on the telescope side, a 50,8mm nose. On the camera side it has a 50,8mm eyepiece holder. The locking screw and the brass ring inside allows to fix but not ruin the inserted accessory. The  filter slider has an optical thickness of 68mm that is, moves outwards the position of the eyepiece or the camera connected to the slider by 68mm outwards.
